Flight of the Crawfish Festival
If you missed Cajun Cafe on the Bayou's annual crawfish event last Saturday, than you missed BIG. We weren't sure what to expect but the event didn't fall short of great. The menu was vast and included a 3lb platter of boiled crawfish, gator bites, po boys and a deliciously decadent whiskey butter bread pudding. The music was bangin and festival patrons partied strong all day long.

Flight of the Conchords - Robots
Just as soon as we could recover from an overdose of crawfish, were we on our way to the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center to see Flight of the Conchords kick off their 2009 North American tour (April 6). Jemaine and Bret performed to a sold-out, die hard crowd of fans with old favorites like Business Time and If That's What You're Into. Most write-ups will note relentless hecklers bringing shame to Tampa and some disorganization on the band's part, but all in all I still think it was a great show. And, the TBPAC turned out to be a fairly decent venue.
